  2. I can only tell you of my experience with it, everyone is different, some people are wheelchair bound, others can have mild symptoms (although, i can`t say what their symptoms would be like) For me, it happened after i had Glandular Fever. It took a while for Docs to find that in the first place, then a huge exhaustion hit me, not just exahaustion after too many hard days work, sleepless nights etc, it just crushed me, totally wiped me out. Even something as simple as blinking took all my energy that i had, i had never had anything like it before, i knew it wasn`t normal but i didn`t have a clue why i was like that. On top of the exhaustion, heavy body (everything felt like lead) i had swollen neck glands, every muscle in my body hurt, painful joints, muscle spasms..then depression kicked in. When you`re feeling like this 24 hrs a day, not knowing what`s happening, getting no answer from Docs, called a hypocondriac etc, no-where to turn..you just have to get on with it. Some days i finally managed to climb onto my bed, i then slept solid for 3 days, i`d wake up feeling quite a bit better, i`d be up and about, enjoying doing things again, thought i was `over it`..then it would hit me 10 times worse, back to square one again. You have to re-charge your batteries (so to speak)..but if you over-do things, you`re worse off than before.. So, you do have to pace yourself, and you do feel better at times, but the better parts are short..the bad parts last a lot longer..until things are back to normal, it`s impossible to work, you just haven`t got the energy.
  3. Jojax may not be able to work due to the severity of ME, it`s a rotton thing to have. I had it in the late 90`s, it lasted around 10 months. Luckily i recovered from it, but some people don`t. At the time, because of the symptoms, there is no way i would have been able to work.. Hopefully jojax will get better soon

  12. A woman brought a Limp duck into a veterinary surgeon. As she laid her pet on the table, the vet pulled out his stethoscope and listened to the bird's chest. After a moment or two, the vet shook his head sadly and said, "I'm sorry, your duck has passed away." The distressed woman wailed, "Are you sure?" "Yes, I am sure. The duck is dead," replied the vet. "How can you be so sure?" she protested.. "I mean you haven't done any testing on him or anything. He might just be in a coma or something." The vet rolled his eyes, turned around and left the room. He returned a few minutes later with a black Labrador Retriever. As the duck's owner looked on in amazement, the dog stood on his hind legs, put his front paws on the examination table and sniffed the duck from top to bottom. He then looked up at the vet with sad eyes and shook his head. The vet patted the dog on the head and took it out of the room. A few minutes later he returned with a cat. The cat jumped on the table and also delicately sniffed the bird from head to foot. The cat sat back on its haunches, shook its head, meowed softly and strolled out of the room. The vet looked at the woman and said, "I'm sorry, but as I said, this is most definitely, 100% certifiably, a dead duck." The vet turned to his computer terminal, hit a few keys and produced a bill, which he handed to the woman. The duck's owner, still in shock, took the bill. "£250?" she cried, "£250 just to tell me my duck is dead?" The vet shrugged, "I'm sorry. If you had just taken my word for it, the bill would have been £20, but with the Lab Report and the Cat Scan, it's now £250."
