  1. Well the new starters are here and the silly season starts again, no I'm not on about the kids I'm on about their stupid parents! After every summer holiday I have to re-train the whole bloody lot of them. Excuse me madam, but why the f*** are you parked in the middle of the lane?, 'Well kind sir if I park next to the wall I can't get the passenger door open to get the kids out', 'Well park next to the wall and let them out of your door and then maybe people who live here can get in and out of the lane!', 'But I'll only be two minutes', ' Yeah! Well I'll just park here in front of you and I'll only be eight hours since I just finished night shift and I'm going to bed, good enough for you?', 'You can't do that', 'Wanna bet! Leave ya car there missus an you'll find out, won't be the first time and it certainly won't be the last'

When I had the Merc Sprinter, that was the best, I parked it across the entrance to the back lane at 8.45 and didn't move it for an hour, needless to say the five cars parked in the back lane didn't park there again :dribble: :dribble:

  2. Millie, Bedlington is already THE forgotten Town, and it's not only about our kids having something to look forward to, but as I said the memories! Our kids will not have any memories, other than drinking on the black path or in the woods behind the cop shop. We need to go ahead with any plans we have to enjoy ourselves and give our kids the memories and worry about HSE later, no not worry, just tell the b......s to do one and stick their noses where the sun don't shine! If they don't like it, then tell them to go ahead and do us, once it's done, it's done! If they realise they can't stop us, they will move on to the next un-expecting mugs to try and justify their jobs! Like the Cooncil, we need to tell all interfering do-gooding b......s to mind their own bloody business!

  3. I am with Merlin on this one .

I just cannot get my head around this Brian, I am at a complete loss! I think I may be taking this too seriously, I think I am the only one who cares and the only one to put into words what I think. People keep telling me, you can't say this or you can't say that, because it's not the way to get things done! But I keep asking myself, WHY? Do people not understand the TRUTH or do they not want to hear the TRUTH, and why should I conform to the way that other people believe to be the right way! I speak my mind and speak as I see, if people don't like it, then tough! Is that so wrong?

  4. If it was Muslim Day, Gay rights day, Bin Laden 'Bomb every white man day' or Shag the Cabbage day HSE would dive for cover and allow these people to get on with it because they can't go against the PC brigade or the F.....G DO-F.....G-GOODERS! But when ordinary people want to help others to have a bit of fun on ONE day of the year, they are there, rearing their ugly heads. FFS! Get these people HERE to tell us to our faces, WHY we can't get on with having a bit of fun, have some happiness and create memories for our children! I could not tire of kicking these people, who are they anyway? Do they have a life? Am booncin on me chair, let me meet these people, PLEASE PLEASE let me meet these people, I have got to meet these people! Let them tell me to my face why we are NOT allowed to enjoy ourselves unless we have some perverse ideas for a 'FAMILY' day out!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!

  5. Batman throws a party for all his super hero friends in a local bar in Gotham city, Spiderman was there, the Hulk was there well they were all there! The party wasn't going as planned so Batman says 'Lets all go back to the Bat Cave, where things will liven up' They all agree and set off for the Bat Cave. They all arrive at the Bat Cave except Superman. 'Where can Superman be?' asks Batman. Nobody knows and they are all worried. After half an hour Superman shows up. 'Where the hell have you been?' asks Batman. 'Well' says Superman ' I knew I would be here before every one else so I decided to fly around the world, and as I was flying over Hyde Park I looked down and saw Wonder Woman writhing around in the bushes naked, legs akimbo! I thought I'm having a piece of that, so I lobs my todger out and swooped down on top of her.' 'I bet she got a surprise at that' says Batman. 'Aye' says Superman 'But not as big of surprise as The Invisible Man got' :dribble: :dribble:

  6. Brettly, good to see you at the gathering of minds last Sunday, I'm sure 4G pointed out who I was, sorry I never got a chance to introduce myself personally! It was great that so many of us turned up full of ideas and enthusiasm. As I have told John it was great to be involved again and contribute to, what can only be a good thing for Bedlington! We need, and I need, more of this, the people of the community pulling together to help each other for the good of Bedlington. I know that John sends his thanks and I would like to send my thanks as well, to all who are supporting this project. Cheers

  7. I may have tried cat seeing as how I love Chinese food  Which reminds me I may also have tried fox, a few years ago environmental Health called at a Chinese I used (not in Bedders, I may add) and reportedly found a lot of fox bones in their back yard, After a good session on the beer who cares anyway :dribble: :dribble:

Brian you not tried them Witchiti Grubs?

  8. This is doing the rounds just thought you would be interested

OH BRITAIN, where did we go wrong ?

We're "broke" and can't help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, Homeless etc.,?????????

Are you aware of the following?

The British Government provides the following financial assistance: -

BRITISH OLD AGED PENSIONER Weekly allowance £104.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS / REFUGEES LIVING IN BRITAIN Weekly allowance £250

BRITISH OLD AGED PENSIONER Weekly Spouse allowance £25

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS / REFUGEES LIVING IN BRITAIN Weekly Spouse allowance £225

BRITISH OLD AGED PENSIONER Additional weekly hardship allowance £0;00

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS / REFUGEES LIVING IN BRITAIN Additional weekly hardship allowance £100

BRITISH OLD AGED PENSIONER TOTAL YEARLY BENEFIT £6,000

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS / REFUGEES LIVING IN BRITAIN TOTAL

    YEARLY BENEFIT £29,900

Please read all and then forward to all your contacts so that we can lobby for a decent aged pension.

After all, the average pensioner has paid taxes and contributed to the growth of this country for the last 40 to 60 years.

    Sad isn't it?

Most people won't bother to forward this.

    I Just Did!

  9. this is going to seem a bit daft, but i've seen something similer and i cant find anything like it.

What i want is a velcro "chap" type thing to go around my calfs, so about 12 inches in width, and long enough to wrap all the way round my leg.

The keywords i'm using to search are not bringing much back.

What its for: I am a diver, using a neoprene drysuit. i'm finding, when i go slightly inverted to inspect something on the sea bed, that what little air i have in the suit goes to my feet, and makes a baloon type effect in my calfs, making it hard to swim until i right myself properly. My buddy has elasticated 'chaps' that has a velcro fastner which solves the problem, but he got his from another buddy, who got them from another buddy.... yo can see where i'm going with this.

I can find equestrian chaps that look exactly what i'm after, only they are leather, and i need them to be made of fabric, preferably elasticated fabric. The sea would ruin leather ones in a matter of days.

    Any help?

Darnie, there's a simple answer to this, Stop FARTING in ya dry suit :dribble: :dribble:

  10. Malcolm, this is on here due to the fact I cannot reply on the announcement page! First and foremost, Well done!

I was just wondering is this the outset for a full blown Bedlington Fair? If not would it not be possible to incorporate this into said fair? Many happy memories from my youth of such gatherings and it seems a shame that the youth of today are missing out on such memories. Where the people of the community could get together to celebrate the town and what it, is and was about. I am not being down beat on this venture of heritage but I think a lot is missing, but that's my view! Good luck and I hope that the day is a huge success.
