  1. Come on then, own up! Who was it that sent about 10 chinese lanterns up on Wednesday night around 8.30-9.00pm? Seemed to be coming from the Ridge Farm to Nedderton area, if not further away (Hartford Bridge).

They looked great from where we were standing at the Terriers football ground!

  2. Rook Matthews are the best by far. Put ours up originally with Mike Rogerson at Blyth but they were useless, Rook Mattews were way better.

The problem with going with Moons, is that they are too small and wont get you the people through the door to view yours.

RMS always promised at least one phone call per month with feedback and were 100% professional.

  3. Just a reminder that Travis Logan, just voted the top UK Country act, is appearing at Bedlington Terriers FC clubhouse tonight (23/10) starting at 8pm.

Tickets can be purchased on the night for £5 and the price includes snacks. Come along, have a great night with the added benefit of some of the cheapest beer in Bedlington - Guinness £2.5.0 a pint?? Can't go wrong!

  4. Takeaway from Verdis (Lazas) is the best in Bedlington by far. THink the Panda Inn is tp notch for Chinese, whilst for Indians I'm struggling; I thought Bombay Nights was awful, Ashiana is nowhere near as good as Frontier used to be and Char Mausum was disappointing.

Yet to try that one at the station (Monsoon???) on the corner.

  5. Bedlington face Unibond side Garforth Town in the FA Cup on Saturday. Garforth have been in the headlines in recent years for the number of ex-Brazilian national players who have turned out for them, through their managers (Simon Clifford) links with the South American country.

The Terriers have had an encouraging start to the season and will be looking to bounce back from their narrow defeat to league leaders West Allotment Celtic on Wednesday night.

Kick off on Saturday is 3pm at Dr Pitt Welfare Park, come along, cheer the lads on and whilst you're there, check out the merchandise range of jackets, polo shirts and replica tops. As far as I know, admission on Saturday is £5 for adults, £2 for concessions.
