  1. My parents live down that way. If i remember tomorrow, i'll pop down and try to match it. I'm 95% sure thats the angle tho.
  2. Almost certainly this view: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@55.130221,-1.613225,3a,75y,350.43h,74.88t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sNexMN6m6yDZBtseqvHm6Ow!2e0
  3. Well, thats me tied up for the next few hours. Thanks Pete! -.-
  4. Thanks Malcolm, I think I have enough now to make the trip! Hopefully this has saved me days of wandering aimlessly
  5. If such a site did not have such a number, what would that mean exactly?
  6. I apologise, i fail to see where any negativity came into any response before your reply. I'll sleep on it an revisit it in the morning. Just in case it is not clear, I appreciate all of the previous responses, and thank the posters for their input. I was merely trying to clarify the information. My apologies if any offense was taken, that was not my intent. The "moderators" quip was directed at foxy's reply alone.
  7. Its like everything else in life, If you don't know, you don't know. Heaven forbid anyone ask for a little help. Castle wall thick, that's how thick. I'm not here asking after doing no research at all. I have looked into it. I hit a wall. My apologies to you and your wasted 10 seconds of life you took to read and reply, but thanks for the response anyway. Nice to see the friendly moderators chipping in on resident issues.
  8. yup, i did the same for mine, however the land in question has no address. I think you can get copies of boundary plans online for a few quid, but you need the full address to get the information. Thanks again Malcolm
  9. Anyone? Are we talking Bedlington council offices? Ashington? Morpeth county hall?
  10. Back to the windows phone, i was an iPhone guy for a good long while, but the battery life (and the task of trying to replace one! WOW apple!) got me down. I went back to a simple T+C phone (texts and calls) for a while, but gave in as i did not realise how much i relied on aps to tell e the weather, tides and even if i got an email. I too went in for the deals and got a WP. (Even though I KNEW i wanted an android...) Lets not mention the lack of popular aps available for it, or any of the tech specs... With my nokia, you can't even add a personal text tone. I still remember my first nokia. Even with that you could use the keypad to create a ring"tone" (because thats all it was, keypad tones!) to be personal. What the hell is nokia/WP thinking removing such a simple pleasure of having your phone shout "Would the man with the twelve inch ***** please answer his text!" whenever a loved one wants to track your location? And... the litmus test: Me: Son, I' getting a new phone for Christmas, do you want my old one? Son: Sure! What kind is it? Me: Nokia Windows Phone. Son: Er.... (walks away shaking head)
  11. I was on the site for the initial talks, and I was one of those who were happy Tesco were here. The "attempt" at a clothing section was abysmal. They should be ashamed of what they have done. This situation is like a dead relationship. The only reason Bedlington and Tesco is still together is habit. The sex is stale, there is no longer any romance. Time to break it up!
  12. Which is where Malcolm? Where exactly would I go to ask?
  13. My new living quarters has a derelict site across the back lane. Most of the other residents have developed this land adjacent to their property by adding a small shed/garage and developing a small allotment type area. I've looked up the boundaries of my property and it ends where the lane starts. How do I find out who owns the land opposite, to get permission to use it? Since there is no actual address for it that i am aware of, I'm finding it difficult to get information. The area is much like that of the properties along Rothesay Terrace, with the house, the back lane, then the area of land beyond.
