In similar sized stores (about 7500 sq ft) it usually has about 100 staff so about 60/70 is possible. Incidently the Safeway store in Bedlington did not have to be sold, Morrisons sold it as it then considered it too small for the Morrisons format. The current management have different ideas and intend to open more similar stores (and some even smaller like Tesco Express/Sainsburys Local)
