Following the fake news items and the recent hate campaign on social media, waged by the Bedlington Labour group against our democratically elected Independent councillors, there is now a deathly silence coming from Bedlington's very own branch of the Kremlin.

Apart from bad lads and scumbags who else uses it......i cross that road a few times a week and never use it....even if it was clean well lit and wee free its quicker using zebra crossing
That's fair enough it's not used because of what you mention, the point I'm trying to make is we're giving in to the lowlife. If it weren't for them maybe some would use it....I have a friend who received life threatening injuries on the Zebra crossing, he would use it.

Subways throughout the country used by millions daily and Bedlington closes theirs down and allows the lowlife to win.

Hopefully the hedge that is blocking the view from the Bus Stop on Choppington lane travelling south will be cut back. After three years of asking and debate with my ex County Councillors spokesman without success I may add, could we now be about to see a result?

It is all taking far too long.
Delay of years and just maybe we are being 'fobbed ' off with the competition and name game.
The local elections will be interesting.
It hasn't taken the Red Army too long to start the Development of the new Kremlin that is going into a neighbouring town.

It'll be a big improvement on what we've got though Andy does make a fair point regarding to 'the cut'. I particularly like the idea of many small retail units - that their use is flexible gets a tick in the margin. I think it could encourage visitors to the area.
County Council have their own agenda for the "Cut" and we cannot shame them into moving these.

Best thing we've seen come to Bedlington for a Generation.

Pity we couldn't get the same investigative team to look into the Archgate affair!
