On a good day the kids (me) might get a balloon! If the R&B men were caught in the act of nicking stuff out the back yard!!

Passed you when you were chatting to them this afternoon Fourgee.
Seems they were there on Friday too.
Keep at them to join our site. It would be nice to hear there thoughts.

Good to hear that Maggie.
I went to Ashington Tech. in the early 70s with Richard (Rocky) Stone.
He died very young of a heart attack if I remember correctly.
He was a tall, fit, talented sportsman & a very nice guy.

Nutter indeed.
A video fit for "Youtube At It`s Best" thread.

And I was too young!

The first Head (in my 39 years of working at KEVI Morpeth) was George Chapman.
An excellent, eccentric chap who always kept a huge sweet shop sized jar next to his desk.
He took great pleasure in chucking a Black Bullet at you when you did something he valued.
A dim view was taken if you didn`t catch it. Especially if you played on the staff cricket team.
He gave them out at important meetings also. To not instantly suck on said sweet was frowned upon. Popular folklore says that it was to gag any opposing views the assembled might have!
Simple but brilliant ploy!
