  1. 3G I think you missed weaponise the tragic fire in London, blame it on the Tories, the Royals, the wealthy, and anyone who has been successful in life , send momentum and the students bought with free tuition fees Led by Luvies such as Silly Lilly, all whipped up to a frenzy by our Biased Broadcasting Companies and you have the recipe for the most violent outbursts on the street of London this week end. The party of hate is a very apt description, but will Jeza be able to resist joining the baying mobs as he seems to be trying to create a saintly image of himself this week .
  2. Alas Jezza is preaching to the converted in Gateshead , they would vote for an orangutan.....as long as it was standing for Labour
  3. Looks like the media gossip has flushed her out to make an interview , unfortunately it seems like it is her worst car crash interview of all time, its embarrassing to watch her but at the same time its worrying that this woman could be in charge of the security of this country. .
  4. It Looks like my thoughts on ABBOTT may have been correct https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/3725804/jeremy-corbyn-attacks-pm-over-police-cuts-after-london-bridge-terror-attack-but-his-shadow-home-secretary-is-nowhere-near-the-airwaves-after-tv-ban/ As shadow home secretary she should have been on TV and sending condolences to the family's of the murdered folk in London.
  5. Corbyn just made a speech on Teeside and asked for a minutes silence for the people killed in the attacks at Manchester and LIVERPOOL So intent on trying to score political points on the back of these peoples murders he cant even get the place they were murdered at correct .
  6. What happened to the money raised from the sale of the golf course and the sale of the day centre land to Lidle ,was anything made from the sale of the old school on church lane, ? what grants are available from the sports council of great Britain or from other charitable organisations ? It seems it was no problem to blow 78 million quid on Manor walks then another 36 million quid for the outside shops (Westmorland retail park ) not to mention the purchase of the railway tavern at Bedlington station then pull it down to use as a car park, what return revenue will they receive from that investment then ? or are they hoping that the old fairy tale of one day a train may run from the station Money is no problem as long as its for Ashington or Blyth
  7. Tim Farron: I want to legalise cannabis - but my children cannot use it TIM NICE BUT DIM Sounds like Tim is already high as a kite
  8. Well Pauls Northumberland County Council has had some of the old wood pruned away, and are making a number of changes to the plans and schemes put forward by of the previous councillors, who knows we may get our centre yet, I for one think the people of Bedlington deserve it
  9. The Wetherspoons situation is a little like the Bedlington supermarkets Andy , just enough turnover for one or at a push two, but if another one opens you have the same volume of customers spending money between three stores instead of one/two stores. Also I know Wetherspoons and big brewers will only buy property and will not rent or lease such as would be the case in the Bedlington development. renting or leasing would give these companies no assets. If anyone was interested it would probably be a small independent pub operator with limited finances looking for a pitch with heavy footfall to rent/lease and if things did not work out well they could walk away, leaving the Council looking for a new tenant/leaseholder and possibly having the building empty.
  10. Sorry lads but I don't see why the council (Arch )should use public/our money be it borrowed or otherwise to build boozers , what next will they be building bookies or strip clubs. If any of the big brewers wanted to come to Bedlington let them use some of the millions in profits they make to build a pub themselves, but they wont because they know it is not viable . A sports and leisure centre is a more healthy option for our children and the community in general, rather than having the kids sitting in a pub , I have some such centres who I supply my business services to. some do incorporate a restaurant and bar function suits and cinema screenings in them franchised out to an operator. in some cases the entire centre is franchised out. ,
  11. Has Diane been told to keep out the way until its all over ? I aint seen nothing of her for a while. I think the only way Labour will win is if Diane counts the votes .
  12. We will probably never have the opportunity again to have such a large town centre site available for development, it should be used to the best advantage of the people of the Town. I believe it should be used to build the Town a sports centre and swimming pool and community facilities that we could be proud of and that would most certainly be more appreciated and used by residents than another boozer or purveyor of cheap beans.
  13. Without giving it much thought I can think of seven pubs that have closed in the last two or three years so why on earth would anyone think it a good idea to build another one , and its no good saying its for families to go for food as that was the format of the Ridge farm, maybe it will be handy for the bad lads and tha mates attending court to use as a meeting room and have a few bevies before sentencing . Also another food retailer ? surely some one is having a laugh, Tesco could not make it viable when it was the only food retailer in Bedlington , now we have Morrisons and Lidle, opening a third outlet is only going to hurt them and before we know it one of them will close and we will have another empty shop. I dont think anyone had thought these ideas out and its just a case of hoy that up and keep em happy
  14. And dont forget Diane, it could be Abbott and Corbstello . .
  15. Poor Jerry, This is his latest interview today , Looks like he has got the job in the bag
  16. Very true 3g, Nissan have described it as ransomware attack. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/cyber-attack-nhs-latest-news-13029913 Many of my clients still use the XP operating system for business I even have one that runs its epos (electronic point of sales) using good old Windows 98 I loved 98 in its day it reminded me of an old hippy by asking DO you really want to do this Listening to the news its reported the NHS did not use the security patch Microsoft released around March for XP that may have protected it from this attack, but who knows what really happened.
  17. The Nissan plant at Sunderland was hit by the attack at 5pm last night causing the manufacturing systems to go down.Renault in France has also been hit. Lets hope the power stations are secure

  19. Not to worry it will be all over soon, and no matter what is said the outcome is certain. 1 Mrs May will win 2 The luvies will hold protests and marches against the democratically elected Governments plans 3 The Ruskies will be blamed for hacking something 4 Jerry will be replaced by someone who looks and talks different but thinks the same way.
  20. Maybe one of them mentioned the Monkey
  21. I see the BFI have added some new local home-made footage , I rather like this one that starts out from Morpeth market place, I noticed some of the buses were from a Choppington company but I could not make out the name (it was not Dickson Jordan) The film is a day out for the kids from the old Sanatorium at Stannington ( it was just further up the road from St Marys ) , I believe it was a hospital for TB recuperation http://player.bfi.org.uk/film/watch-pcha-childrens-sanatorium-outing-to-cresswell-1930/
  22. I worry that the spear shaking between the US and Russia will look rather tame if the big game kicks off . .

    Brexit Day

\i have not seen much coverage in the UK press or news about this. Poor deluded Mr Juncker blames poor Donald Trumps support for the British exit from the European Union, Don has EU boss Jean-Claude Juncker all worked up threatening If the president doesn’t begin showing more U.S. support for the EU, he says, he’ll personally lead an effort to break apart the United States http://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/785813/European-Union-EU-boss-threatens-break-up-US-retaliation-Trump-Brexit-support I am sure Don will worry himself sick over Junckers jabber.
