I think this is putting us off going too - wouldn't mind seeing some info about before we decide - very puzzling

  18. Anyone know what's happening with the shop? I see it's being done up.
  19. Halifax ads where they're on the radio "isa isa baby" urghh
  20. Given that Blyth Cramlington and Ashington have Asda stores already, would regulations allow another one in Bedlington? Didn't we have this issue with Morrisons when they bought out Safeway? It could reduce the choice(?) we have at present, leaving Tesco with free reign on pricing.
  21. I thought it was all too rehearsed and neat and I don't think it was really a debate but more of a chance for all 3 leaders to give well-planned statements. I really hate 'sound-bite-speak!' And why bother with an audience at all if they aren't allowed to respond to anything? A bit of an anti-climax, I'm afraid.
  22. Just been to Delaval Hall for an open day. You can view some of the house and grounds and have your say on what you'd like to see happen there. Very interesting and definitely worth a visit - excellent views down to the sea. It's open again from 11-4 - part of Northumberland Residents Festival.
  23. Seems that, according to their map, The Ridge Farm is to be found in the middle of the allotments behind Millbank Tce. In that case, they'll have immediate access to seasonal fresh vegetables so quality food shouldn't be a problem!
