  2. Have not got a clue but it could refer to the alloted streach of coal face for a filler

  4. A see your back and its good to hear from you. If I had know you were there we could have had a pint of guiness, hows colonel Knoweldge do you still see him?

    Brexit Day

I would happily accept Nigel as Prime Minister, his negotiating skills would be superb and we would not have to wait for two years to get out of the EU club
  7. If anyone is considering giving up smoking and trying the e cig there is a fantastic e cig shop on Bedlington Front Street west. I do not know the name of the shop (never looked) but highly recommend it. The guy behind the counter is very knowledgeable and gives good advice.
  8. I was in Bedlington last week and very impressed on how the Top End looked

    Brexit Day

200% agree, we should never have joined the politicos eliete club. Never wanted it in the 70s and dam well dont want it now, we need to build a wall, well only joking about the wall.
  10. So thats what they call pubs over there
  11. Happy Birthday Brian, hope you had a great day
  12. Happy Birthday Vic, hope you have a great day.
  13. Wishing you all the best, have a great day, plenty of the liquid stuff.
  14. Are they Bedlington mechanics? Never seen them play in a strip like that 50s/60s unless it is before that time.
  15. Is Mr Rich (Lord Bedlington) still involved with the club? Do'nt hear his name much these days.
  16. You are right Brett, registering with TPS does make a big difference but it does not stop my good friend Sam from Windows technical dept calling me every day and offering to remove the virus that I have on my computer. Could be Sam's is in a different country and TPS does not seem able to stop these type of calls. But as I said I do agree with you that it is worth reistering with TPS as it has minmised the number cold calls that I get.
  17. Signed it and agree with you on the BBC bit but its not just the BBC, local media seem to be anti Trump and anti brexit.
  18. Plenty beer and a barbi then Brian
  19. Could be that I have mispronounced the second name and I would think that I have definitly mis spelt it. Very late fifties/sixties. Something in the back of my mind tells me that he could have been of Italian origin.
  20. Happy Australia Day Brian. Is it a national holiday Brian?
  21. Two more names come to mind, one was Danny Peary, If I remeber correctly he left Bedlington Mechanics to play for Crook Town he was there when Crook Town won the FA Amature Cup final at Wembly and returned to Bedlington shortly afterwards. Another name, although I am not sure how to speel it, was Matty Fernoney ( Fernoney, probably spelt incorrectly) Late fifties early sixties.
  22. Yes Jordans coaches did the away matches I remeber going to alot of them. Bob Fulbeck may have come from Bebside or Cowpen, not sure. I think Heslops name was Ronnie. I do'nt remeber a game between Newcastle united reserves but Newcastle United A team had a team in the same leauge as Bedlington Mechanics, Northern Alliance
