We like it too but I think they are old programmes that are shown here. Here, the chair has just been taken over by Sandi Toksvig. I think she's every bit as good as Stephen Fry but OH thinks Fry was better.

I'm the same as your OH - I prefer Stephen Fry but I also think that Sandy Toksvig is as knowledgeable and very funny very funny it's just since she took over, Series N I think, there is less control of the over the panelists and Sandy laughs too much at the panelists🙃

Over here the latest series on the BBC is S. On the Dave channel they keep repeating all the episodes of every series -

Dave is a British free-to-air television channel owned by UKTV, which is available in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Vic - it's not really a game show. Just the host asking interesting questions and the panelists are awarded points not only for the correct answer, but also for interesting ones, regardless of whether they are correct or even relate to the original question, while points are deducted for "answers which are not only wrong, but pathetically obvious"

First series was on topics beginning with 'A' and the subsequent series working their way through the alphabet and the current series is topics beginning with the letter 'S'.

One day I will shock you and do the quiz .

We would be very happy to welcome you on board, Maggie! Of course, it's the taking part that's important (as Mr Hemming was so keen on reminding us!)so if you don't want to post your answers it's OK. Challenge the OH over a glass of wine or get the neighbours in for a bit of a natter. There is more than one way to skin this particular cat. The main thing is to get the grey cells out for an airing once a week. Enjoy it!

I'm sure you did know better, Vic. It's just that our fingers are less nimble with old age and I believe that N and W are next to each other on a Canadian computer keyboard.
