The showing of IP addresses on this forum is a silly idea.

Not just because it changes from computer to computer. (You access the forum from work, or home - the IP address will change).

Its amazing what you can find out with other peoples IP's.

Besides, whats to stop me or anyone else installing an IP concealer?

I know this has worked on other websites that I've lurked on, but if I'm honest, I'm really disappointed that it's come down to this.

As we're over the age of 12, I'm slightly gob smacked that we've all been continuing this nonsense (and I know I'm as guilty as anyone)

P.S. I'd be happy to lose the porn links - just my own gut reaction....all rather unnecessary
