Not Connected?

I`m sitting on my comp, on the internet (obviously, because i`m on here) but i have a red cross at the bottom right corner of my screen saying `You are currently not connected to any networks`

Yet when i double click on the red cross it just says i`m connected..Any idea why this is happening?

Sounds like outgoing connections are being blocked. Did you get a popup at some point asking whether you should allow or block outgoing connections?

No, i`ve never had any pop ups...i`ve seen the link you put on so i`ll have a read through that.

Right, i`ve followed all the instructions so i`m going to re`start my comp and see if that helps. Be back in 2 min (or not)!

Seems to have done the trick..i`m officially connected now
