  1. Hello All, On driving up through Bedlington Town Centre following the 'opening of the market place' and the Christmas Lights switch on (Well Done Tommy!), I noticed that many of the barriers are still in place, the most notable being on the Main Street. Why are these still there? - I can understand them being around the Christmas tree, and to protect the new grass, but why are they still in other parts of the Market Place? Surely, if the development is 'officially open', then it should be finished? It does look good, but why has it taken so long? It has only taken 16 months to virtually rebuild the Sanderson Arcade in Morpeth, and the Market Place seems to have taken most of 2009! Perhaps for future projects, the project managers and contractors who worked on the Arcade should be employed - they seem to get things done... Best regards 250merc
