First one looks a lot like a chopped version of Stallone's car in Cobra, which I think was a 1950 Mercury.

First one is a 1950 Mercury, same type of car as stallones cobra, good job Malcolm!! second one is a 1967 chevy suburban, oldest continueous vehicle name since 1932 and still is

My favourite topic! The first one is a Talbot Lago - not sure of the model but I think it's T150 - with, I think, a Saoutchik body, and the second is a Volvo P1800, I believe (and no, Google was not utilised........)

ABTW that Talbot is about 1938 vintage.

Probably the guy I knew who looked after the pit ponies.............I did the back brakes on it, forget what the axle was off.
